Arnall Teacher is a finalist For Economic Education Teacher of the Year
Arnall Middle School teacher Pam Ridge has been selected as a finalist for the Georgia Teacher on Economic Education (GCEE) Teacher of the Year Award. Ridge is a seventh grade social studies teacher at Arnall.
A GCEE teacher of the Year nominee is selected from public or independent schools in Georgia teaching a course in economics or integrating economics into other courses at any grade level, K-12. According David V. Martin, Director of GCEE, there was a record number of application for the Teacher of the Year award this year.
“This speaks volumes for Arnall Middle School and Coweta County School System,” said Barbara Louis, Director of Secondary Education for the Coweta County School System. Economics Teachers of the Year are recognized at the annual meeting of the Georgia Council on Economic Education in May.
